Ichhabheri Ras is an efficient purifying ayurvedic medicine. It is usually used before main course of therapy with tonics and healing medicines. Ichhabheri Ras purifies all parts of intestines, stomach, spleen and liver. It is especially helpful in disorders in the lower part of body.
It has laxative, anti-parasite, bile-expelling properties. Ichhabheri Ras helps in indigestion and food poisoning, in various Pitta-disorders.
Indications:
indigestion, chronic constipation, worm infestation, food poisoning, Pitta disorders, general intoxication.
Content:
Shuddha Parad, Shuddha Jaipal, Shuddha Tankan, Kajjali,Shunthi, Kala Marich.
Dosage/Application:
2-4 tablets in the morning or before going to sleep, 4 hours after or 2-2,5 hours before meal together with 1-2 liters of cold water. During course one should take not less than 2-3 liters of water a day.
Diet: avoid fried, oily, spicy food. Kitcheri without vegetables, dal and cream are recommended.
Contra indications: exhaustion, prostration, loss of appetite, weakness, low Agni, chronic diarrhea, pregnancy, rectum diseases, ulcerative colitis ileus, people above 85 years, children below 14 years.
